Good & bad live case demonstrations and the amazing benefits that digital dentistry has brought us and the 'not so' amazing aspects of digital dentistry.
September 12, 8:30 am, Willamette Park, Corvallis — Oregon Oral Cancer Walk
Please arrive on time; the walk/run will start at 8:30 am with registration. We will provide free oral cancer screenings before and after the walk/run. Anyone who has a screening will get a free raffle ticket. Parks and trails are smoke-free. Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a leash. When you walk in the Oral Cancer Foundation Walks, you join the effort with hundreds of thousands of people to raise awareness and funds that allow the Oral Cancer Foundation (OCF) to invest in new research, create educational programs, advocate for public policy, and support oral cancer survivors. September 17, 5:30 7:30 pm, LCC E 30th Ave, Eugene Building 32 — Fall Dentist Social and LCC's Healthcare Professionals Building
Join us for a fun social event at the Healthcare Professionals Building sponsored by Columbia Bank Healthcare Banking. The Healthcare Professional's Building houses Lane’s Medical Assisting, Emergency Medical Technician, Dental Hygiene, and Dental Assisting programs. Come check out this incredible learning space and enjoy socializing with other dentists and LCC staff in this state-of-the-art facility. There will be a variety of snacks, drinks, and desserts. The Lane Community College Foundation will be providing wine. The event is free for all dentists. $25 for guests of dentists.
